Fanny Lam Christie's work explores our relationship with nature. She is fascinated by the transformation process of casting using recycled metal and has done much of her own bronze and aluminium casting.

Her large scale bronze 'Storm' was recognized by the N. S. MacFarlane Charitable Trust Award 2006 in the Royal Scottish Academy exhibition.

She works on all different scales from small sculptures to large site-specific installations and commissions.

In 2008 She founded the Heartwood sculpture walk in Perthshire, which has now developed into an annual event to coincide with the Perthshire Open Studios in September.
