I studied pottery at the Art & Craft school in Copenhagen. After many years in pottery, I now make boxes, using natural materials such as wood, copper, aluminium, amber, bone and horn. Most materials are re-cycled and found on the beach, woodpile or scrap yard . I am seeking the interface between raw/fine, rough cut/polished.
My preferred material is copper, a sensitive metal which reacts dynamically to heat, acid and polishing, the possibilities seem limitless
when playing with these different methods.
