Edinburgh Sculpture Workshop is excited to announce that the artists selected to be our 2021 Graduate Residents are Nick Jüsi, Cal McCormack, Victoria Smith and Ella Wragg.
ESW offers a range of residency opportunities enabling artists to spend time developing work, undertaking material experimentation, learning new skills and realising projects. Upcoming Deadlines Reach Scotland, 31 March 2019; Funded and Graduate Residencies 30 April 2019.
There are 26 studios in the Bill Scott Sculpture Centre, with a studio community of around 30 artists. Two studios are used for the annual residency programme, accommodating around twelve visiting artists each year.
Edinburgh Sculpture Workshop’s Schools Programme has been running since 2012. Working in partnership with two local Primary Schools, Victoria and Trinity, this innovative approach to visual arts education through long term engagement.
Set up in 1986 by a group of sculptor graduates from Edinburgh College of Art, Edinburgh Sculpture Workshop was an artist-run organisation for many years.
Edinburgh Sculpture Workshop’s Reach Scotland Programme enables artists living and working outside Edinburgh to benefit from a period of research or production, with studio and accommodation, access to workspaces and training all offered at subsidised rates.
