Working in small groups of four allows focused attention and support from the tutor. This practical skills course provides an introduction to the tools and basic carving techniques used for working in limestone and is an excellent introduction to this interesting and surprisingly flexible material.

Alex Lopex graduated from the School of Fine Art, Neuquen, Argentina and has a degree in Art History from Edinburgh University. He has worked with Jorge Michelotti. Alex has exhibited widely in Argentina, Portugal, Greece and Scotland and made several public art commissions.
