A Family Portrait – Clay Masterclass with Birthe Jorgensen

Saturday 25 August 2018
10:00am – 5:00pm
No Experience needed

What happens to our understanding of the 20th Century, when a generation of grandparents leaves us behind, and we thereby no longer are related to the key moments that they lived through such as the Great Wars, women’s right to vote, revolution and the coming into being of the welfare state? What do we take with us? What did they take with them?

Come to this playful one day course, where we will explore these thoughts together, and make a clay bust that mixes some of your own and your grandparents’ character traits.

All you need to bring along is a picture of yourself and another of your grandparent. All tools and materials will be provided on the course.
