Clay Mountain is an experiment in collaborative, monumental clay sculpture that will run for the first two weeks of Charlotte Barker’s exhibition, ‘Flotilla’.
Four tons of clay will be in the courtyard of Edinburgh Sculpture Workshop and visitors will be encouraged to contribute to the ongoing, evolving sculpture.

Clay Mountain will open with a workshop led by Charlotte Barker and Jack Cheetham where you can experiment with free forming and modelling using various tools and objects.

Join our Front of House Manager, Lynn Cowan, as she leads an exhibition tour specifically designed for visually impaired visitors. The tour includes a touch element where you will be able to handle several works provided by artist, Charlotte Barker.
