This new metal work course introduces the advanced welding technique of TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) Welding. TIG is one of the most versatile welding techniques available and is an adaptable process that can be used to weld a range of metals from stainless steel to bronze and much more in between. This course is perfect for existing and experienced users who would like to develop their metalworking skills or for those interested in metal casting.
Joe Etchell is a visual artist based in Glasgow. He graduated from Edinburgh College of Art with First Class Honours in Sculpture
and has been awarded the Andrew Grant Bequest, Hope Scott Trust Award and Edinburgh Visual Artist Award. He is currently Studio Technician and CNC Specialist based at Flux CNC and Laser Studios, Glasgow. He was previously a Technician at Edinburgh Sculpture Workshop and formerly the Director and a Committee Member of Embassy Gallery, Edinburgh.
