Gift Voucher Process
– Complete the purchase process. (You can buy multiples of the £50 voucher if you want to offer more).
– receive a confirmation email within a few minutes.
– visit this page to download our Gift Voucher notification PDF which you can print to put into a card or you can share as an image online to your loved one.
– within the next week – or in January if you purchase the Gift Voucher over the festive season – depending on your instructions, we will email you or your friend the Voucher Code which they can use to make a booking.
– in February when our public Courses Programme is launched we will email a reminder to everyone who has a Gift Voucher.
ESW office will be closed from 5pm on Thursday 19 December 2024 to 9.30am on Tuesday 7 January 2025.
We will work on the follow up to all orders when we come back and if you want to send us additional information you can email (or forward your confirmation email) to office@edinburghsculpture.org.
FAQs
Can I buy this Gift Voucher for a child?
– Please only purchase for people over 18.
Can I get a refund if I decide it’s not appropriate?
– Yes if you as the buyer request a refund we can consider this. Please email office@edinburghsculpture.org with your order number. Please note if you are doing this over the festive period we will be able to reply in mid January. As we are a small charity there is a 10% admin fee deducted from the refund amount to help us cover costs.
If I get a refund how long will it take to receive the refunded amount?
– When we process the refund the payment is immediate from our side but can sometimes take up to five business days to show in your account depending on your bank. (Please note information about our office closure for the festive period above).
Do I receive confirmation of my order?
– Yes, you should see a confirmation message on your screen immediately and receive a confirmation email within a few minutes of making the purchase. If you don’t receive this and no money is deducted from your card you can either try to make the purchase again or contact office@edinburghsculpture.org (Please note information about our office closure for the festive period above).
Do I receive the Voucher Code with the confirmation email?
– No, the Voucher Code is made at a later date and will be emailed separately. Go ahead and use the Gift Voucher notification once you’ve made the purchase and we’ll provide the voucher code to you later. (Please note information about our office closure for the festive period above).
Can the voucher code be sent to my friend or family member directly?
– Yes, please put their name and email into the Notes field on the order.
What can the Gift Voucher be used for?
– It can be used when purchasing a Course online. The Voucher Code can be entered as part of the purchase / booking process at the View Basket stage. Anyone 18 or over can do a Course at ESW.
– It can also be used by people who are already regular users of ESW to book sessions. This application – using for sessions – isn’t suitable to buy for people who are not regular ESW users as there are several induction processes which have to happen before that.
Are your courses accessible?
– We have rolling access to all our courses. They mainly happen outside in our Courtyard, Bays, Outdoor Learning Studio and occasionally the North Lab inside space. There are accessible toilets nearby. We can accommodate a carer or support worker if that is helpful. We can have a familiarisation phone call or visit in advance of the course. Our courses are all physical processes and we can often make adaptations to work benches or tools so please discuss this with us in advance so we have time to get it right for you. If you have any other questions about access please contact office@edinburghsculpture.org in the first instance.
What courses are available?
– Our public Courses Programme will be launched in February. Please view this page to see examples from last year.
How much do ESW Courses cost?
– They vary in price from around £180 to around £290.
If my Course is lower than my Gift Voucher amount do I loose that money?
– No the remainder stays active as a credit which can be used for full or part payment in the future in the same way – by applying the Voucher Code at the View Basket and checkout stage.
If I forgot my Voucher Code can you help me?
– Yes, if you contact us we can tell you the number again and tell you how much remains in the code. We would need the order number, the name of the person who made the booking and the email used when making the booking. If we have this info we can give the Voucher Code info to either the person who purchased the Gift Voucher or the person who they named in the Notes part of the order process.
