Call for Applications for Graduate Studio Share

Applications are invited for one share in a Graduate Studio at ESW. from recent graduates (last 3 years) working within contemporary sculpture practice.

Deadline for applications: Tuesday 29 April 2025, 23.55

One space is available in a shared studio* (2 sharing), from 1 July 2025. Previous applicants are welcome to apply.

Studio Rent and Membership Costs*:

£95.00 per month in first year
£102.00 pm in second year
£109.00 pm in third year
*Costs include mandatory Concession Membership of £4 per month.

Sessions in shared workshops and workspaces are included in studio rent. Additional charges apply for anything with a running cost, including machine use in the workshops, kiln firings, metal casting, Project Space hire and printing.

Studio Holder Benefits: 24 hour access, free access to Sessions in bookable shared workspaces including specialist workshops (additional machine costs, consumables and kiln firings are charged), Wi-Fi, tailored artist opportunities.

Facilities include: Dedicated Metal, Wood, Casting, Plaster and Ceramics Workshops plus covered outdoor Bays for stone carving and other processes.

As Members, Studio Holders also have free access to ESW’s Research Space for documentation / testing work, we run regular metal casting opportunities in aluminium and bronze (charges apply), and you’ll be emailed a monthly Opportunities Newsletter, exclusive to ESW Members.

To additionally share video or audio, please provide a link (with password if needed). Max. duration 5 minutes. Max. total email attachment is 10MB. Please title your pdf: “FirstNameLastName_StudioAppYear.pdf”.
