Call for Project Space Applications
Applications are invited from artists working within contemporary sculpture practice who would benefit from a Project Space at ESW for projects; to make work or test ideas. The Project Spaces offer is designed to help artists who are working towards an exhibition or commission; or who need time for in-depth material exploration. Spaces available from 1 December 2024 and 1 February 2025.
Two Deadlines: 27 November 2024 at 9am, 7 January 2025, 9am
Licences are available for up to 6 months, with minimum hire term one month.
ESW has three shared Project Spaces and two other individual Project Spaces.
The three shared spaces each have four quadrants: Paolozzi Project Space and Workshops Project Space in the Bill Scott Sculpture Centre, and the Labs Project Space in the Creative Laboartories building.
Individual spaces: Courtyard Project Space is located in the South Bays, and the Green Room Project Space in the IT Space.
Rates: studio rent £112 per month per quadrant plus ESW membership (with additional charges applying for machine use, kiln firings and consumables)
Benefits include: 24 hour access, no Session fee to use shared workshops and workspaces, free wifi, studio holder opportunities.
