In a few sentences, please tell us about what you would like to make at ESW including any forthcoming projects , the type of materials you plan to use and what sort of workshop and technical support you need.Please note, there are some types of activity which are not suitable for doing at ESW (due to H&S, our funding and focus on contemporary sculpture practice, or concerns about the materials), these include: Joinery, furniture, kitchen or cabinet making; weapons; functional ironmongery such as gates, railings, stairs; car, boat or bike maintenance; stripping down items for fuel or re-use; mass production of ceramic items - our focus is on sculptural ceramics not table ware; repair of household items; helium or ivory. There are also special arrangements needed for resin, sandstone and other materials with increased risk so please contact us before joining as a Member so that we can check it will be feasible for you to work here.Please contact us in advance if you have any questions about whether your activity will be suitable for ESW, and don't apply if your project falls into one of the activities listed as unsuitable here, as we are not able to refund Memberships. .*
