Public Courses Programme 2023 now open for booking!

We are delighted to launch our public courses programme starting on the 20 April 2023.

ESW has a variety of courses to choose from, including some of our popular ones in Carving and Clay Portraiture, alongside new materials and processes to try.

Highlights from this year’s programme include: An Introduction to Sculpture, an Experimental Clay Portraiture Summer School, and Smoke Firing. We have also introduced some short half day and full day taster workshops in Patinas and Ink Making, Casting with Jesmonite, Pewter Casting, Plaster Relief Sculpture and Clay Exploration.

Our public courses are open to everyone from beginners to experienced makers and are all artist-led. They are a great way to explore sculptural methods, learn different processes and make artworks.

Most of the courses will take place in our Courtyard and Outdoor Learning Studio, with adjacent North Lab inside space. All the spaces are fully accessible and the courses are available to book at both full price and concession rate.
