Description
You will work at your own pace over the 6 weeks and the tutor will move around the class teaching one-on-one, with some group demonstrations of techniques.
The course includes:
- 6 weekly group sessions at ESW.
- Expert guidance and advice.
- Course materials and access to wood carving tools.
This course will take place outside in our Courtyard Bays.
We will provide Personal Protective Equipment such as appropriate dust masks and eye protection. All participants must wear their own safety shoes or boots, we can advise on suppliers.

Alejandro Lopez graduated from the School of Fine Art, Neuquen, Argentina and has a degree in Art History from Edinburgh University. He has worked with Jorge Michelotti, has exhibited widely in Argentina, Portugal, Greece and Scotland and made several public art commissions. He is a long-term tutor for ESW’s Learning Programme.
