ESW’s workshops are for anyone to make sculpture projects. It’s cheaper to use the facilities if you join as a Member. Inductions are needed before using our facilities.
This listing is for the Non-Welding Area in the Metal Workshop, with Named User Equipment: cold saw, chop saw, pillar drill, gas forge, box folder.
Induction: A half day Metal Workshop Induction is required before working in the Metal Workshop and using Named User Equipment – Inductions are booked with the Office – phone 0131 551 4490 or email office@edinburghsculpture.org. Metal Workshop Inductions are offered on Wednesday mornings, a hands-on training and practice Session from 9.30am-12.30pm, with full PPE required.
If you do not need access to Named User Equipment, eg metal grinding, you can book to work in the Covered Yard Wall Space.
To use the welding equipment, please book the Metal Workshop – Welding Area.
If you have a big project or important deadline coming up and need more Sessions, please arrange to meet in advance with Stephen Murray, to devise a programme of work.
