FAQs (updated 30 December 2026)

How do I apply with a Job Share proposal?

In terms of job share applications – we got advice on the process so that we can handle all applications, including job share applications, fairly and so here is some more information we have shared with people who have enquired about making a Job Share application:

  • We would assess each candidate individually, to ensure they’re both qualified for the role, so, if you decide to go ahead, please can you each submit an application.
  • To cover the job share element, please could you add an additional document, including the joint proposal, including how you would divide responsibilities, what your approach to communication and handovers would be, more information on working patterns and how continuity and accountability would be shared and maintained.

I have a mixed work and educational background, will this effect my application?

  • We are open minded about applicant’s work and educational background, including people who are practicing artists for part of their week. The applications will be assessed on the criteria in the job advert information.
