Metal Workshop – Welding

This listing is for the screened Welding Area in the Metal Workshop, with Named User Equipment: MIG and TIG welders, Oxy-acetylene cutting and welding.

Induction: A half day Metal Workshop Induction is required before working in the Metal Workshop and using Named User Equipment – Inductions are booked with the Office – phone 0131 551 4490 or email office@edinburghsculpture.org. Metal Workshop Inductions are offered on Wednesday mornings, a hands-on training and practice Session from 9.30am-12.30pm.

Inductions can be booked from 14 February 2024.

If you do not need access to Named User Equipment, eg metal grinding, you can book to work in the Covered Yard Wall Space.

To use the other metal working equipment in the Metal Workshop (plasma cutter, cold saw, chop saw, pillar drill, gas forge, box folder), please book the Metal Workshop – Non Welding Area.

If you have a big project or important deadline coming up and need more Sessions, please arrange to meet in advance with Stephen Murray, to devise a programme of work.
