Description
Taking inspiration from Eduardo Paolozzi, Barbara Hepworth, and contemporary figurative artists, the course will guide you through:
- A series of exercises using different techniques to create heads.
- Working with clay to build and create different textures and surfaces.
- Refining the heads.

Duncan Robertson graduated from Edinburgh College of Art and was awarded the King Edward VII Scholarship to study in Munich and was a student of Edouardo Paolozzi. He was a recipient of the Bothy Project Residency in 2019. Duncan has over 20 years teaching experience and is a freelance gallery educator at the Scottish National Galleries and a long-term tutor on ESW’s Learning Programme.
