Edinburgh Sculpture Workshops annual Schools exhibition, ‘Stop Making Sense’ presents an installation, films, and sculptures made by the pupils this year.
125 Primary 5 pupils from Trinity and Victoria School have spent the past year working on projects with artists; Dave Sherry, Laura Aldridge, Keith Farquhar, Jedrzej Cichosz, Stephanie Mann, Bernie Reid, Morwenna Kearsley and Jack Cheetham.
Now in its fifth year this programme has seen over 500 pupils participate in the schools programme. Working in partnership with two local Primary Schools Trinity and Victoria this innovative approach to visual arts education through long term engagement has seen the Primary 5 classes from both schools visit the workshop for an hour once a week for the whole school year.
