Scott Rogers

We welcome Scott Rogers to ESW as part of the Scotland – Argentina Residency that has been supported by the British Council and been curated and hosted by La Ira De Dios (Argentina) and Edinburgh Sculpture Workshop (Scotland).

Rogers’ recent work is focused on encounters between humans, animals, and natural forces, and the implications these encounters have for understanding power, desire, and ecology.


Scott Rogers (born Calgary, CA) lives in Glasgow, Scotland. He has an MFA from the Glasgow School of Art (UK) and also studied at the Staedelschule (Frankfurt, DE). Solo exhibitions include Collective (Edinburgh, UK), Southern Alberta Art Gallery (Lethbridge, CA), YYZ Artists’ Outlet (Toronto, CA), Glasgow Sculpture Studios (UK), Artspace (with Sarah Rose, Auckland, NZ), One Night Only (Oslo, NO), American University Beirut (LB), and PM Galerie (Berlin, DE).  In 2018 he will have a solo exhibition at Franz Kaka (Toronto, CA).
