New Work
Edinburgh Sculpture Workshop is delighted to present an exhibition of new work produced by the artists on this year’s Micro Residency Programme.
Rachel Adams, Michelle Hannah, Chris Walker and Chloe Windsor have been this year’s Micro Residency artists and have used their time and the resources of Edinburgh Sculpture Workshop to develop new work that ranges from performance to animation by way of sculpture.
Designed around an open brief to foster experimentation and encourage interdisciplinary practice, the residencies offer participants the opportunity to undertake an intensive six week period of research. The flexible nature of the programme allows artists to explore new ideas out with their normal practice whilst benefiting from Edinburgh Sculpture Workshop’s facilities and staff support.
