Project Spaces: Call for Applications

Applications are invited from artists working within contemporary sculpture practice who would benefit from a Project Space at ESW for projects to make work or test ideas. Spaces are available from 1 February 2023.

Deadline: Tuesday 6 December 2022, 9.00am.

ESW has three shared Project Spaces, each with four quadrants:

Paolozzi Project Space and Workshops Project Space are located at workshops level in the Bill Scott Sculpture Centre. The Workshops Project Space is a new Project Space in the Bill Scott Sculpture Centre, which will be available from 1 February 2023.

In the Creative Laboratories is the Labs Project Space, also divided into 4 quadrants, and a single outdoor Courtyard Project Space located in the South Bays.

In the shared Project Spaces, artists can apply for 1, 2 or 4 quadrants, dependent on your project.

Licences are available for up to 6 months, with minimum hire term one month.

Rates: studio rent £102 per month, per quadrant, plus ESW membership (with additional charges applying for machine use, kiln firings and consumables)

Benefits include: 24 hour access, no Session fee to use shared workshops and workspaces, free wifi, studio holder opportunities.
