EVENING COURSES 

Smoke Fired Ceramics with Mella Shaw 

Wednesdays, 16 October- 20 November
6.30pm-9pm, £180 (£162)

Make a small group of objects in clay and learn how to smoke fire them using different decorating and smoke firing techniques.

Plants and Pots with Charlotte Barker

Tuesdays, 5 November-10 December
6.30pm-9pm, £200 (£180)

Design the perfect plant pot for a specific plant and make pots to suit your house or garden space, from mini window ledge containers to monster patio pots.

TASTER COURSES

Handbuilding with Clay with Adam Gandy

Saturday 9 November

This taster introduces hand-building techniques for pinch pots, slab building and coil building as a basis for a unique vessel or sculpture.

Printing with Plaster with Eleanor McCullough

Saturday 23 November
10am-4pm, £80 (£72)

Learn to print with plaster using two different techniques; linocutting and digital image transfer on this new taster course.

Introduction to Metalwork with Joe Etchell 

Saturday 23 November
10am-1pm or 1.30pm-4.30pm, £90 (£81)

This fast paced course introduces the techniques needed to make a sculptural object in steel using basic cutting, welding and drilling.

Woodworking with Robin Burns

Saturday & Sunday, 16 & 17 November

Learn how to use wood workshop machinery, manual hand tools and power tools to make small handmade items (jewellery box, small side table or a box shelf).

Clay Portraiture with Duncan Robertson 

Saturday & Sunday, 7 & 8 December

This intensive weekend course allows you to model a clay directly from life and develop observational skills and clay working techniques.
