Building Induction bookings are open for the whole of 2023.
Building Inductions are for workshop users, to prepare you for using the ESW building and before your first Session. The Building Induction is free and takes around 30 – 45 minutes. It is part of the H&S protocol for using the building, and covers things like fire exits, first aiders.
There are two other types of tour available:
Artist tour – for artists interested in working at ESW, to view the spaces.
General Interest Tour – for all other visitors interested in viewing the centre.

The Casting Workshop is suitable for mould making, wax working and preparation for casting, and is adjacent to the Covered Yard.
Please only book the Casting Workshop AFTER you have discussed and agreed the project and time with Stephen Murray and then book dates as agreed.
Before booking, you’ll need a Building Induction – phone 0131 551 4490 or email office@edinburghsculpture.org for more details. Once you’ve had a Building Induction, you can book to work – book sessions online and pay in advance via ESW’s online booking system.
A down payment of £50 towards the pour is required at the start of your project, and is deducted from the final bill for the pour. Full details will be forwarded once the down payment is paid. Materials are measured, recorded and then charged at the end of the project, or on a monthly basis for longer projects.
