Everyone is warmly invited to the opening reception of our new exhibition Ashanti Harris: Dancing a Peripheral Quadrille on 29 July 7 -9 pm. There will be the premier of the performance at 8 pm.
Join us on 18 August at 7.00 pm to hear our current Hawthornvale Space artist Calum Craik discuss his ESW commission Psycho Capital and it’s relationship to his wider practice.
The final two (for now) new Billboards for Newhaven are Untitled, 2019, Sebastian Thomas and Untitled, 2021, Suzanne Anthony. Over the last 18 months 15 Edinburgh Sculpture Workshop members have shared their work with our local community, providing an unexpected encounter with visual art for people as they go about their daily business.
Over the next few months ESW is keen to hear from people who might be interested in being trained to do casual work on basic events, admin and communications.
Over the next 9 months Dannii Hillis, Alliyah Enyo, Lorenzo Rangoni Robertson and Naimh Hughes will be in residence at ESW as they undertake our Youth Bursary Programme.
We are pleased to announce that Edinburgh Sculpture Workshop are partnering with British Council Lebanon and Hospitalfield House on a residency programme to offer the opportunity for two artists from Lebanon to participate in a four-week residency in Scotland between 8 August and 5 September, 2022.
